I promised myself that I will get myself a nice espresso machine once I finish university and get my first salary. Today was that day and I could not be happier.

That’s a great machine! I had the same one for years.

Congrats and hope that every cup is better than the previous one!

Got the same one for my wife on her 40th birthday. We’re both totally in love with even though I’ve dived deeper down into the rabbithole than her at the moment 🤣

  4. Congratulations! I hope to do the same thing for myself one day 🙂

I’ve got the same machine but in blue. It’s fantastic. I’ve had mine for a little over a year and it’s done daily drinks for my wife and I without fail or hiccup.

  7. I have same machine, we love it. We actually are very lucky to have a local roaster near us, we asked him to come to our house and show us how to use it, he did just that and brought us loads of freebies, we’ve used him ever since. He delivers our coffee fresh roasted – happy dayz!

I have the same machine. This is my workflow:

    1. insert portafilter and cup, use the 1 cup button. This warms up the system and flushes leftover particles from previous shot. Then I use a microfiber cloth to dry the portafilter.
    2. I have a separate grinder, so grind the beans and finish puck prep.
    3. Use the manual mode for extraction, which allows for control of pre-infusion. Long press the 2 cup button until coffee starts to drip. Then let it go. Press the button again when the weight hits 36 gm.

Congrats on the buy! It was my 1st machine as well!

I believe a lot of us started with this as our first real espresso machine.

What’s your grind time and coarse setting? Mine feels right but when I pull shots I gotta make it a quadruple as per the buttons to get the same double espresso amount, the single shot button literally dribbles a bit out of

I have the same machine. Honestly love the built in grinder. I have a eureka grinder I use for better espresso or when I really want to take my time, but when I’m in a rush out the door, the built in grinder is a life saver. Definitely gets me the coffee I need, albeit quick and dirty, still better than buying outside.
